Parent Alliance | Linden Waldorf School of Nashville

The LWS Scrip program is an easy, almost effortless way to raise money for the school. Every time you make a purchase, LWS receives a small percentage of that amount.

Gift Cards:
Purchase a gift card for the face value and the company gives LWS a small percentage of that amount. This program includes many restaurants and businesses where you normally shop, including: Whole Foods, LL Bean, Lands End, Target, CVS, STARBUCKS, & Panera Bread. There is a gift card available for any giving occasion.  The complete list contains hundreds of merchants. Instead of using your debit or credit card to purchase gas for your car, why not use a SCRIP card?  We have cards for BP, Exxon, Shell and Mobil. Orders are placed throughout the year. Order forms are available in the office.  Order forms must be accompanied by a check and dropped off in the SCRIP folder in the office. You may also place your own order at any time of year. Sign up with www.shopwithscrip.com.   When prompted please use this code to specify Linden Waldorf School: DEA1D37C19139. If you do not choose use PrestoPay you must inform the Scrip Coordinator pascrip@lindenwaldorf.org to process your order. There is also a supply of our most popular cards available at all times in the office.  These include: Michaels, LL Bean, Walgreens and more. Check with the office manager.

Loyalty Cards:

Kroger
Buy $5 Kroger gift cards here at school. You can then “reload” the card at the customer service desk or at the register for up to $500 and use them for any purchase you make at any Kroger store. Kroger gives Linden Waldorf School 4% of every purchase you make using the gift card. Even if you are not a regular Kroger grocery customer, the cards can be used and reloaded at the gas pump too. New cards are always available in the office. IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important to keep activity on gift cards for LWV to earn the rebate. A gift card with a zero balance for 90 days will not benefit the school even though it may still be reloaded.  If you feel you have had an inactive card for this period of time, please just pick-up a new $5 card in the office.

Harris Teeter
Harris Teeter grocery stores have a “Together In Education” program of cash back to participating schools. If you already have a Harris Teeter VIC (“very important customer” card) you may link that card to LWS online using the Harris Teeter website www.harristeeter.com. Harris Teeter gives 5% back on selected purchases, which tend to be Harris Teeter brand items. (Note that you must re-link your VIC card to Linden Waldorf School at the start of every school year.

PUBLIX Partners
Publix Super Markets has a great program that will enable our school to make money every time we shop at Publix. It’s simple: Pick up a Publix Partners card in the office. When you shop at Publix let the cashier know you have a Publix Partners card at the beginning of your transaction. For every $37,500 our supporters spend at Publix, $250 will be given to our school.

Target Red Card
Target gives 1% of every Target purchase made  using the Target Visa card made and 0.5% of every other purchase made using your Target Visa card to the school of your choice . If you don’t already have a Target Visa card, you may apply for one in the store and will receive 10% off your first purchase made. Be sure to designate Linden Waldorf School as the recipient for its “Take Charge of Education” benefits! ‘Quick’ Credit applications are available in the SCRIP folder in the office. If you already have a Target Visa Card but have not designated Linden Waldorf School to receive its “Take Charge of Education” benefits, you may do this:

  1. Online: Target.com homepage > Take Charge of Education > Benefits > Find/Designate a School. target.com
  2. At the computer kiosk in the customer service area of any Target store.
